Panaroni Motorsports and Mark Panaroni is gearing up for the 2010 season. We will be fielding 2 car for this season. Sponsership packages are still avaliable, but time is running out. Only 2 more weeks till the opening race at the Waterford Speedbowl. Look For us traveling in 2010 to tracks such as Mad Dog, Thompson, Lee Usa Speedway and can not forget the good ol' Waterford speedbowl. Check back for more details on us.

Thompson Int. Speedway World Series

Panaroni Motorsports headed to the Thompson speedway for the world series of racing, and the final race of the season.

The weekend was almost a wash out for us. It rained friday, much of the day saturday, but sunday was a great day. We raced sunday. We did not have much practice.

In the heat race we started 9th and finished 2nd. The car was overall pretty good not too loose.

In the feature we started 4th and go stuck on the bottom of the track out of the groove. The car we Extremly loose through the whole race. We manged to hang on to a 6th place finish. Good finish, car is in one. Thats a good thing and the car is now up for sale. We are looking to field a Sk Light Modified for next season. Stafford Motor Speedway- Panaroni Slams down a top 3 finish. Top 3 were 21 of baxter, 91 of williams, 51 of panaroni.

The first ever running of the mini stocks were at Stafford speedway this past weekend, for the carquest Season final.

Friday we went up to practice, and because of a motor change only got 2 rounds as the other mini stock had about 7 rounds. The track was very differnt from what we have ever run but we had a good setup under the car.

Saturday was very uneventful. Other than a rear end change we did there was no practice nor any heat races or feature because of Rain.

Sunday. Long day of racing. We had gotten one round of practice and all the work paid off as we were pretty fast.

Feature time. As numbers were drawn for the feature we started on the out side in the 6tth spot, behind the 87. When the green flew the outside lane moved back and we fell back it 7th. First caution came as the 60 spun. Next yellow was the 17 hitting the wall. reastarted 8th. With 5 to 8 green flag laps run we managed to work our way back up to the 4 spot. The car got beter and better as the race went on. With 2 laps to go the leader spun in 4 and we snaked across the line in 3rd. overall a good race. We are looking foward to the season ending race at waterford this weekend.

Waterford Speedbowl- Panaroni Takes down second consecutive 5th place finish

     Practice Rounds were uneventful for us. WE strugled with the car all day being 3rd fastest on the speed charts.

    Heat race was pretty exciting with the 51 and teammate 52 start pole and outside pole. The two raced side by for 9 laps until the 51 got loose coming out of turn 4 and the 52 and the 3 were able to squeek by at the finish line.

   Feature 25 laps, was a green to checker run. We started outside pole with the 93 on the inside. When the green flag flew, going into turn 1 the 93 ran the 51 up into the marbles. We slide by the 8th place. As the race went on the 51 manged to get up to 5th place and started chasing down the 20. Time ran out and the took down another top 5 finish. After the race when the 51 pulled into the pit we experieneced some major engine troubles. We will bring it down to GCR and see whats going on with our power plant.

Waterford Speedbowl- Panaroni takes down a 5th place finish.

    With No heat races for tonight's event's starting line up was base on points. As we are not in the point race we knew we were starting deep in the field.

 The feature started with the 51 starting in the 11th place. When the green flew the 51 started to make the way through the pack. Frist caution flew with 17 to go for a spin in 2.Restarted 9th. Next caution, was for another spin in 3 with 15 to go. Restarted 7th. The car was pretty good tonight, but a touch loose on the bottom. When the green came out again, the pack was side by side for a few laps till the 18, spin on the front shoot. Mark was able to avoide the wrecked and restarted in the 5th spot. With only 8 to go, the 51 raced side by side with the 11 till the checkered. At two points in the race teh 51 completely passed the 11 then when to the bottom of the track, but the car got loose and slide back up the track. The 11 got to the inside again.

All in all it was a good night taking down a top 5. It was our best finish since we won a month ago. We have ben plauged with bad luck and wreck's so it was good to be back in the top 5. Look for us next week at the bowl, to try to take down win #2
